Non-Itemized Inventory Services
For those facilities not requiring specific line item details, such as product manufacturer and catalog numbers, HISI offers its Non-Itemized inventory service. This inventory method is for those looking for a dollar value summary by location and category. Most often used by the Outpatient Pharmacy and Gift Shop.
The physical count is taken using portable dictation devices. This enables us to efficiently and accurately gather the inventory data with minimal prep work and/or disruption to your normal activities. The client is responsible for posting pricing for inventory items prior to the count and providing HISI with any applicable cost factors (mark-ups), cost codes and product categories. Our Project and Production Managers employ quality controls to ensure precise inventory results.
HISI provides the final inventory reports on computer printout and/or electronically. Standard final reports are: Certification, Section Totals Summary at Retail and Cost Price and Department/Category Summary.
